- In the division of the inheritance that was done by the villagers Gelung often happens disputes between the heir when the division was not done correctly by the heirs and in the solution is not easy either litigation or non-litigationi. In the village of Gelung itself in the implementation of sharing the heritage of the community often perform on when the heirs still live because more escape from the dispute in the latter days compared to the implementation of on when the heirs have died. . But when done after the heirs have died that occur certain disputes between the heirs. The problems are examined in this research along with the aim is to know how the implementation of division of inheritance and efforts to settle dispute in the village of Gelung heritage. This research nomative sociological namely research done through field research with the intent and purpose to find the fact of real situations in the environment community. Now the method used to collect data is the interview and documentation. From the results of this research showed that there are 8 families who do the implementation of division of inheritance, 5 the family of whom conducted during the heirs still live while 3 family conducted during the heirs have died. From 8 the family is experiencing sengeketa heir is 3 family that the implementation of its inheritance pemabgian done in when the heirs have died. While 5 family that the implementation of the division is done as heirs still live have no difficulty when the division was carried out. In the settlement efforts sengekta division of the inheritance on to 3 the family in complete using non-band litigation namely 2 family using alternative negotiations while 1 family uses alternatife mediation in the solution. To resolve the dispute over the villagers Gelung often use alternative negotiation and mediation in a family in the settlement of disputes over the inheritance.
