- This reserch discusses the AICHR's role in dealing with the Rohingya conflict. Since 2010 the Burmese government has been confronted by the issue of Rohingya conflict in Rakhine state. This conflict gets worst in 2012 and gets international reactions. The impact of this conflict is not only faced by Myanmar, but indirectly also affects other ASEAN countries, especially in the case of the victims of the conflict that becomes refugee to some ASEAN countries. This research is a descriptive research analyzed using qualitative method. The author uses the concept of Internaisonal Organization and conflict resolution theory as research analysis tools. To complete the case analysis, the authors also completed this research with secondary data from of library data, like book sources, online daily news, and official website. Most of the data in this research were taken from the ASEAN and AICHR publications. Based on the analysis and literature data the authors obtained, it showed that AICHR as an ASEAN sub-institution has made conflict resolution efforts through several ways. These efforts are a dialogue with Myanmar and other ASEAN countries in order to deal with the Rohingya conflict and protect the victims.
