- Entertainment Tax is one of the area’s original source of income in the town of Blitar that comes from tax sectors of the region. This research aims to know the efforts made to improve Goverment Revenue (PAD) Native especially Entertainment Tax in the Blitar. This research uses a type descriptive and qualitative methods. Research done in the BPKAD city of Blitar Jl. Merdeka No. 105 Blitar. The data source in this research is the primary data from interviews by officials of the BPKAD and Blitar Town Entertainment tax prayer, while secondary data obtained from documents that could support the primar data. While the data analysis techniques using three phases includ the reduction of data, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results of this research can be known what strategy the Goverment namely, the strategy of the Goverment in the poll tax entertainment, entertainment tax and target designation through the intensification and eksistensification team. And from these strategies can show there are still many taxpayers who have yet to understand how to calculate the payable tax payable. In addtion there are still many taxpayers who have yet register its business activities to BPKAD.
