The method used is the Phal and Beitz method, for the product design phase and product detail phase, the Autodesk Inventor Professional 2016 software is needed to draw and design a plastic chopper design and its components so that images can be obtained from the product. The overall results of the calculation of this plastic chopper are as follows with a capacity of 200 kg / hour, with a knife length of 600 mm, blade width of 40 mm, diameter of motor pulley 71 mm, diameter of peeler knife 175 mm, spacing of axis axis 144 mm, thickness of belt 11 mm, and the shaft material used uses ST 60 with a shaft diameter of 20 mm and uses a reduction bearing with RefUCP 204number.
