  • ABSTRAK This manuscript is about designing a garbage lifting machine on the surface of the river that will be placed on the sluice gate. Aiming to clean up garbage by lifting garbage using a conveyor which is then transferred to the container. The method used is the Phal and Beitz method, for the product form design phase and product detail phase, the 2016 Autodesk Inventor Provesional Proportion software is used to draw and design a garbage lifting machine and its components, so that images can be obtained from the product. The results of the calculation of the garbage lifting machine are as follows: 4 m conveyor path length, conveyor width 1.6 m, and conveyor tilt angle 〖25〗 ^ °. Electric motor as a driving force with 1500 rpm reduced to 750 rpm on the conveyor belt, 15 rpm conveyor belt rotation The power required by the electric motor is 10 KW.
