  • This research is aimed to depict an implemetation of mathematics study and critical thinking skill by using SGD methodin junior high school. The sort of this research is descriptive research using qualitative approach. The subject of this research is 32 students at class V11. This research is using four manners to imply the SDG method those are ; (1) to identify topic and to forma group discussion (2) to solve the problem by creating group discusiion,and presentation,(3) to evaluate the problem solving (4) and lead to conclusion about the problem solving. Critical thinking skill could be established through four indicators such as interpratiton, analysis, evaluation, and inference. According to a research the implementation of mathematics study is good catogery at using SGD method through those manners.
