- The background of this research is based on writer’s interest to Sidorenggo Village for making this village a potential tourism destination in Malang Regency with optimising the potential environment in there. The type of research used in this research is descriptive. Where the research subject in this research is Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Malang and Sidorenggo Village Society. Data collecting method in this research is interview, documentation, and observation. Based data obtained are that Sidorenggo Village can be potentially developed with these support factors: 1). Where the location of Sidorenggo Village has four main tourism destinations known to social media recently. 2). Waterfall in Sidorenggo Village can be developed into a new tourism destination. 3). The Sidorenggo Village society’s huge passion to bring their village forward.
