- Intersection is the meeting point of the vehicle's current from various directions. That is the cause at the intersection of a conflict between the currents of the opposite direction and cutting each other, resulting in congestion along the sides of the intersection. It also happened at the three unsealed intersection on Yulius Usman street - Sulawesi street and the intersection of four on Sulawesi street - Nusakambangan street caused by motorist behavior, side barriers and density of vehicles that are not offset by the availability of adequate infrastructure (roads). This study aims to evaluate the performance of these intersections based on the Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga (1997). From the evaluation results in can the value of degree of saturation (DS) of each intersection is at the intersection of three Yulius Usman street – Sulawesi sreet degree of saturation (DS) = 0.917 and at intersection Sulawesi street - Nusakambangan street degree of misfortune (DS) = 0.876. The value of degree of saturation exceeds the recommended Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga (1997) is (DS) < 0.85. Therefore, there is an alternative to improvement on both intersections and has found the best alternative that is at the intersection of three .Yulius Usman street – Sulawesi street is imposed a right turn restriction with the value of degree of saturation (DS) = 0.507 while at the intersection of four Jl. Sulawesi - Jl. Nusakambangan is installed and traffic light with the degree of saturation on the northern approach (DS) = 0.709, on the southern approach (DS) = 0.707, on the east approach (DS) = 0.711, and on the western approach (DS) = 0.572.
