- Plant propagation of vaccinium varingiaefolium until this time are rarely conducted whether by generative as well as vegetative.The act of conservation in making copies of vaccinium varingiaefolium proper, one of them is with tissue culture. Tissue culture that is technique cultivation cells, tissue, and organs plants in an environment that is restrained and in a state of aseptic or free microorganisms.Tissue culture capable of producing plant with many in a relatively short time and can be conducted anytime. In tissue culture, the composition of basal medium will affect the growth of explant itself. The purpose of research is, to know the effects of combination of IAA and kinetin in nodal induction of a Mentigi plant (V. Varingiaefolium (Bi.)Miq. To research, it uses IAA and kinetin who is expected to produce sprouts good from the seeds of mentigi. Methods used in research is using design random complete. developed in factorials, consisting of 2 factors that are IAA and kinetin. Data obtained analyzed variety and tested appeal using duncan at 5 percent. The research results show the existence of interaction plain for all to see on the parameter of exsplant their nodal and come out.The composition of IAA 2 ppm and kinetin 2 ppm showed that the percentage of eksplan a basis of the greatest their buds and come out is as much as 53.33 % until 45 days after planting.
