- PT. KSK is a company engaged in the business of oil palm plantations in Sukamara, Central Kalimantan. PT. KSK was established in 1984. In its development to produce the best palm oil production or CPO, PT. KSK does not pay attention to the safety work of its employees. In the sterilizer machine, it was recorded that in 2017-2018 there were work accidents in 13 employees who had fractures, permanent disabilities, and died. Therefore, in this research the authors examined the identification of occupational accidents and then looked for potential sources of work accident hazards so that control measures and proposed improvements could be carried out using the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) method. Based on the process of identification of hazards, the sources of danger are obtained, including: Sterilizer machines, lorries, lorries rails.
