  • In this time cold-formed steel structure is popularly used as a material with a light weight advantage, faster in construction process, and easy to use. Cold-formed steel is formed from steel sheets that design profiles not by smelting process. The amount of material used as roof construction evokes the innovation of cold-formed steel used as a simple earthquake resistant building structure. Light advantages and ductile properties are ones of the considerations regarding seismic performance buildings that are increasingly needed in Indonesia. In this structure analysis of the dwelling house is designed in such a way that is in accordance with the floor plan then planned profiles, connections, and loadings using codes SNI 1726: 2012, SNI 7971: 2013, SNI 1727: 2013 and other references as well as assisted by STAAD Pro software especially for loading analysis. From the results of the calculation of the analysis, the results of scalatic modeling obtained from a cold-formed steel structure that is able to withstand in 4 cycles of loading with drift ratio control. The definition of the earthquake resistant building as evidenced by the hysteretic curve loading, 7.7% secant stiffness and 76.4 mm drift ratio.
