- Kuta Beach which is located in Kuta Village, Pujut Sub-district, Central Lombok Regency has a very prominent tourism potential. By having this potential, the government of Central Lombok Regency shows the evidence in developing tourism objects and the attractiveness of society. In developing the tourism objects, there are positive and negative impacts for Kuta Village community. It is because there are many domestic and foreign tourists who visit Kuta Beach and bring the various cultures that can influence the local culture in the village. Therefore, a research on the impact of the development of tourism objects to the social life of the Kuta Village society, Pujut sub-district, Central Lombok Regency. The purpose of this study is to know the factors and the changing of socio-cultural society because of the impact from the development tourism objects. The research method is descriptive research. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. From the results, it can be concluded that in the Kuta Village, Pujut Sub-district, Central Lombok Regency gives the positive and negative impacts on physical, social, cultural, and economic aspects. Most of the local culture was changed by other cultures which brought by tourists. Thus, the development of tourism objects in Kuta Village does not give the changing of social culture in better aspects yet.
