  • Production process at CV. Wijaya Kusuma is still done manually and the operators who work still not accordance with the ergonomic work posture. So that causes injury to the operator such as making a motive with a fast movement without a pause that causes the operator's wrist to get injured, lifting objects that weigh around 15-50 kg with a bent position that causes the shoulder and back to experience pain. Therefore a method is needed to solve this problem. JSI is a method used to estimate the risk of accidents or pain in the wrists, hands and elbows. Before processing data using the JSI method, a nordic body map questionnaire was distributed, to find out complaints about which parts of the body experienced pain before and after work. The purpose of this study is to analyze the existing work posture and study the possibilities that cause operator inconvenience in working and get a work posture that is based on ergonomics using the JSI method. Based on the results of data processing that has been done there are 1 work posture that is "not recommended", 2 "potentially injured" work postures, and 1 "dangerous" work posture. There are 4 work postures in the production process in the CV. Wijaya Kusuma who needs work posture improvement measures.
