- Current technological developments as if can not be dammed, it can be seen from various aspects that have got a touch of technology. This phenomenon forces everyone to always race so as not to be drowned out by the rapid development of technology. One aspect of being able to keep on racing in the midst of current technological developments is education. Education has an important role in the development of human resources of a nation. The School Literacy Movement is developed on the basis of the government's priority agenda (Nawacita) about the tasks and functions of the Ministry of Education and Culture as set forth in item (5) to improve the quality of human life and the Indonesian community; (6) increasing the productivity of the people and competing in the international market so that the Indonesian people can move forward and rise with other Asian nations; (8) revolutionizing the nation's character Literacy movements generally emphasize one's interest or ability to do reading and writing activities. Data from the results of a survey conducted by the Most Littered Nation In the World in (2016) showed that Indonesian people's reading interest is ranked 60th out of 61 countries. When referring to the data exposure, it can certainly be concluded that our reading interest as Indonesian society is very low. This condition can be said to be less favorable than that of neighboring Thailand, which based on the survey results occupies one rank above Indonesia.
