  • In the marketing department, employees are expected to be able to adjust and be flexible in dealing with a constantly changing work environment. Individual activity to adapt to the demands of the environment are defined as job crafting. One of several factors that correlate to job crafting is adversity quotient or an individual’s ability to fight and survive the challenges in work. The aim of the research is to know the relationship between adversity quotient and job crafting on employees. Research samples totaling 125 employees in the marketing department in Malang were taken by Quota sampling technique. Measuring tools used are adversity quotient scale and job crafting scale. Data analysis used in this study was Pearson product moment correlation test. The results of the analysis show that there is a very significant positive relation between adversity quotient and job crafting in marketing employees (r = 0.391, p = 0.000). Adversity quotient contribution with job crafting in (r2 ) = 0.152 or (15, 2%).
