- Broken Home is a circumstances where a family is lack of harmony that caused by the divorce among the parents. It affects the relation and patterns of interpersonal communication that has been interwined in a Broken home family. The aim of this study is to determine the interpersonal communication patters between parents with the child, and child with the child. The researchist is using a qualitative method with the type of descriptive method. The data collected by interview (in depth interview). The focus of this researches is on the issue of outbreak broken home caused by divorce of parents. The subject of researches are students of Faculty of Social and Political Science class of 2014 University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The theory that used helping out analyzed this study is the theory of Self desclosure. Based on the results of researches conducted in broken homes, interpersonal communication between children and parents forms a circular communication pattern. This happens because the current communication between them is still running with the feedback. Circular communication pattern and formed interpersonal communication between children and children in this communication pattern continuous communication process that is the feedback between the communicator and the communicant.
