Daftar Isi:
- This text is about the effect of variations in the compressive strength of teak and mahogany sawdust briquettes on heating and density values, aimed to determine the resistance of briquettes and the calorific value of briquettes of teak and mahogany sawdust using tapioca flour adhesive. For briquetting press variations are 20, 30, 40 KN with 50: 50 briquette ratio. From the results of teak and mahogany powder briquette testing with variations in briquette pressure it can be seen that the highest briquette calorific value is 6,755 cal / gram in 20 kN pressure variation, for the highest density value found in the mixture of teak and mahogany wood briquettes with a ratio of 40KN compressive variables of 0.365 while the lowest value with a pressure of 20 KN of 0.333. The value of briquette heat is still not good, because it cannot exceed the heat value standard of Japanese, English briquettes, America, and SNI. For its own density value on variations in briquetting pressure has a graphical value that increases where the higher the value of the briquetting pressure the greater the density value.
