- This research adapted the execution of two members of Bali Nine were from Australia because the case of smuggling drugs which were about 8,3 kg that effected the strain between Indonesia and Australia. Both of duo Bali Nine were Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran who were under arrest on April 17th, 2005 and according to the law, they were proved as part of the drugs leader. The dead execution was on April 29th, 2015 in the Nusakambangan Public Institution, Cilacap. The issue of life and death of someone who has the international impact is interesting to be analyzed because they influence the decision for two counties where was done. The dead punishment was hoped able to make the wary effect for the agent, by another side if they were not careful, it could increase the escalation strain for both agents. Online media, Tempo.co and Thejakartapost.com were some of the media which adapted this issue into the news, Tempo used Indonesian language and The Jakarta Post used English language. To interpret how to arrange the news with the execution case of duo Bali Nine, this research used the qualitative method. The basic research which was used was framing analysis by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosichi model with the type of interpretative research. The scope of limitation which was used for clarification the news was about execution of Bali Nine Australia that was posted on April 29th, 2015. In that period, it was got three news from each media that was chosen with the potentially judgement to increase the diplomatic escalation strain which can influence the relationship between Indonesia and Australia and the same news. From this research, it was got the result about the execution case from Andre and Sukumaran which is caused by drugs, Tempo.co tried to build the Indonesian image as the side which is in command because it became the determining for Andrew’s and Sukumaran’s life, whereas the side of Australia was imaged as arrogant side and threatened because it used the ways to derange Indonesia. It was different with Thejakartapost.com which told Indonesia as the side of power and had strong argumentation which were used for doing the law power. Australia was told that, it did not respect the Indonesia law power. Indonesia was in the positive image and Australia was in negative image. From the result of this research, it can be concluded that, Tempo.co arranged the drugs case execution of Bali Nine were from Australia with the posiive image as the strong country which had the contribution and directonary in doing its power. Thejakartapost.com focused on Indonesian image as the coutry to deserve by doing its power. By seeing how the writing news was, both news have different writing style. Tempo disposed agitating to give the positive image for Indonesia. Whereas, The Jakarta Post was more careful in presenting the fact but it was with the ways which meant more developing the relationship.
