- Geographically, Indonesia located in a prone to natural disasters area, and one of the common disasters happens is flood disaster. Recorded 19 flood cases happened on 2016 in Pasuruan City. The rising of flood volume is caused by the accumulation of floods happens in surroundings. Hence as the result of the flood tragedy, it affects on the social and economy activities of the society. Regarding to the condition stated before, the efforts of Regional Disaster Management Coordinating Board (BPBD) is certainly needed deals with the Pasuruan City Flood disasters. This research is using qualitative methods which descriptive approach is chosen by the researcher. The researcher aims to describe the efforts used by the Pasuruan City’s Regional Disaster Management Coordinating Board deals with the flood disasters. The data used by the researchers are Primary and Secondary data, which primary data appears from the observation and interviews to the informant, while the secondary data appears from the documents and archives. The result of the research shows that flood disaster on Pasuruan city is caused by the high intensity of rainfall, overflowing of the river stream, the sea high tide also the society habits on littering. Welang River is one fo the river which often overflow and causing the flood while the efforts who did by the BPBD are socializations among the society, river normalization, reforestation, and developing Kelurahan Tangguh Bencana. Whereas the obstacle appears is the limitation of the budget used to deal with the flood disasters.
