- This study aimed to find out: (1) how workload, physical work environment and employee performance in company, (2) the influence of workload and physical work environment on the performance of public relations employees, (3) which variables are more dominant affect the performance variable. The population in this study were 328 production section employees, samples taken by 82 people. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling. Data were collected by a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is the scale range and multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that: (1) workload, physical work environment and employee performance is categorized as sufficient, (2) workload and work environment have a effect on the performance of public relations employees, (3) the results at a significance level of 5% indicate that the variable workload has a negative effect and the physical work environment has a positive effect on employee performance. The contribution of the physical work environment is predominantly partial to the performance of public relations employees.
