- This plan contains the process of designing and calculating dimensions of each part of the sand sieving machine. The purpose of this plan is to find out the power required by the sand sieving machine, the dimensions of the components and obtain an image of the design of the sand sieving machine. Based on the design of sand sieving machines, the order of the design is, literature study, design concept drawing, design data collection, data calculation and processing, design and working drawings. This sand sieving capacity is 4 m3 / hr, the result of the design of this sand sieving transmission system uses 2.5 Hp using a motor pulley ∅ 75 reduced by pulley ∅ 588 mm. This sand sieve uses v-type A belt with a v-belt length of 106 inches. This sand sieve uses a shaft with ∅ 50 mm and a peg with a width of 15 mm, 10 mm thick and 40 mm long.
