- Mathematics learning in primary school is not only about learning to count and recognize number but also logical thinking process to learn to sum, reduce multiply and divide numbers, as well as to estimate time span that is widely used in everyday life. Mathematics learning in Elementary School is generally still as passing information without involving learners to build their own understanding. From the preliminary study conducted by researcher, it is obtained that mathematics learning media has not been used, especially integers material, the learning applied by teachers still using lecture method and emphasizing on procedural skill and lack of media provided by the school. This research aims to: (1) Develop Numbers Box Media In Fourth Grade Mathematics Learning in Elementary School on Material of Integers Summation and Reduction Calculation Operation and (2) Describe Feasibility of Numbers Box media. The researcher uses Research and Development which includes several stages namely: (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product trial, (7) product revision, (8) usage trial and (9) final product revision. The result showed that the response of learners after using Numbers Box media was in good criteria. It was based on total score of students who answered “yes” at SDN Pesanggrahan 02 Batu amounted 220 with 88% of achievement level, and students at SDN Druju 03 amounted 143 with 84,11% of achievement level. Furthermore, the analysis results of learners’ test scores at the end of the test indicated that the class had been completed classically and had been in good criteria. It was based on learners’ test scores analysis at SDN Pesanggrahan 02 Batu and SDN Druju 03, where at SDN Pesanggrahan 02 Batu there were 84% students who got score at least 70 and at SDN Druju 03 there were 82,35% learners who got score at least 70. From the result of teachers’ responses at SDN Pesanggrahan 02 Batu and SDN Druju 03 it was obtained 88,8% of achievement level and from the result of material and media validation conducted by experts, it was obtained 87,27% and 95,7% of achievement levels with very good criteria. Based on those things, it can be concluded that the research and development product is categorized feasible, attractive and effective to be used.
