  • This study aims to determine the effect of minimum wage, number of industries and gross regional domestic product on manpower absorption in large and medium processing industries by Province in Indonesia. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple regression using panel data. The result of this study indicates that the Minimum Wage variable, the number of industries and the gross regional domestic product have a significant effect on labor absorption, while partially the number of industry and gross regional domestic product has a positive and significant effect, while the minimum wage has a negative effect and significant to the absorption of labor in the large and medium processing industries according to the provinces in Indonesia.
