HUBUNGAN ANTARA AKTIVITAS FISIK DENGAN KEBUGARAN (SIX MINUTE WALKING TEST) PADA LANSIA DI POSYANDU LANSIA PERMADI DINOYO KOTA MALANG

- Background : Physical activity affects the level of fitness based on the amount of oxygen consumed by the body. Fitness is a person's ability to do an activity that uses limbs throughout the body by extending time without experiencing fatigue. The importance of the elderly in doing a physical activity properly, well and regularly will affect the improvement of fitness and can maintain a degree of health. In each individual who has the ability must be based on good physical capacity so that it can easily carry out activities productively while outside the home or neighborhood. Aim : Knowing the relationship between physical activity with fitness (six minute walk test) in the elderly in Posyandu Lansia Permadi Dinoyo Malang City. Research Method : The study design was cross sectional using purposive sampling design. The population of the research is the elderly in the Posyandu for the elderly in Dinoyo, Malang. The measuring instrument used in fitness uses a six minute walking test and physical activity using the IPAQ (international physical activity questionnaire). A total sample of 75 respondents including inclusion and exclusion. Data analysis test using Chi Square Test. Result and Discussion : Based on the results of the Chi Square Test shows that fitness (six minute walking test) and physical activity get a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05) then H0 rejected and H1 accepted. Conclusion : There is a relationship between physical activity with fitness (six minute walk test) in the elderly in Posyandu Lansia Permadi Dinoyo Malang City.
