- In the fact that the variation in group activities in Oro-oro Ombo 3 Elementary School is still less varied, so the division of group work becomes irregular which results in the emergence of active groups and less active groups. So there needs to be a variety of group activities. This study aims to find out: (1) the application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model on thematic lessons on the content of IPA grade IV at Oro-oro Ombo 3 Elementary School in Batu City, and (2) Effect of Two Stay Two Stray learning models on thematic learning achievement on IPA content fourth grade students of SDN Oro-oro Ombo 3 Kota Batu. This study uses quantitative research and the type of research used is the pre-experiment (One Group Pretest Posttest). As a data source, the fourth grade students of SDN Oro-oro Ombo 3 Kota Batu were selected as many as 20 students. This research was conducted in September 2018 by conducting a pretest to measure students' knowledge before being given an action, and doing a posttest to determine student learning outcomes after being given an action. The results showed (1) there was a positive and significant influence on student learning achievement. This is indicated by the probability value (Sig.) 0.014 <0.05 which means it has a positive and significant effect. (2) Two Stay Two Stray models have an effect on improving the learning achievement of fourth grade students of Oro-oro Ombo 3 Elementary School in Batu City. This is indicated by the correlation value of 0.067, if interpreted is classified as a correlation interval of 0.60 - 0.799 which means that the relationship is low. The results of this study, Two Stay Two Stray learning model is recommended to be used as a reference in applying learning models to increase learning variation and improve student learning outcomes.
