- This study aims to describe the application of character education values used in SDN Jatimulyo 1 Malang in class I theme 3, subtheme 3, learning 4, and describe the strategy of internalization character education used in Jatimulyo 1 Elementary School Malang. The data collection method for this research is interview, observation and documentation. Data sources used are headmaster, class teachers, and students. The result of interviews with the teacher will be checked again with the results of interviews by headmaster and student, and vice versa.The researcher describes the results of the study by describing an event and event that occurred in the present which is described into a series of words on the situation and conditions using the data that has been collected. Researchers used 3 stages of data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation and triangulation of methods / techniques. The results study showed that: (1) In apply the points in class I theme 3, subtheme 3, learning 4 was very good in understanding, applying to activities and minimizing teachers to cover the shortcomings weakness of students who synchronized the teacher, participants learners in mastering the theory until the real example. The teacher also collaborates with parent to control the attitudes and behavior of their students (2) The strategy is implemented in the application of the internalization of character education that is taught, trained, familiarized and cultured. In this case, what needs to be emphasized is it must be familiarized so that it can be cultured later. (3) The steps used to internalize the value of character education are by way of socialization first so that everything becomes transparent, physical and mental preparation, and the last step certainly integrates PPK (Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter) into intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular.
