- Public transportation in Kupang has 6 official routes with 169 units of active fleet. Based on the Governor Regulation of East Nusa Tenggara number 1 the Year 2015, the public transportation fare has its upper limit Rp. 3,500,- and the lowest limit of Rp. 3,000,- for public passengers, while for students, the fare is Rp. 2,500,- as its upper limit and Rp. 2,000,- as its lowest limit. The calculation method for the fare evaluation is based on Decree of Director General of Director General of Land Transportation Number 687/AJ/206/DRJD/2002 on the Technical Guidelines of Public Transportation Management in Urban Areas for Fixed and Regular Routes. The result of public transportation fare evaluation based on BOK which referred to the actual number of passenger in the year 2018 showed that the fare for route 1 is Rp. 3,475,-/regular passenger and Rp. 2,074,- /students. The fare for route 2 is Rp. 3,309,-/regular passenger, and Rp. 1,985,-/students. The fare for route 3 is Rp. 3,474,-/regular passenger, and Rp. 2,085,-/students. The fare for route 5 is Rp. 2,880,-/regular passenger, and Rp. 1,728,-/students. The fare for route 6 is Rp. 2,756,-/regular passenger, and Rp. 1,654,-/students. The fare for route 7 is Rp. 3,045/regular passenger, and Rp. 1,827,-/students. On the other hand, the public transportation fare evaluation based on BOK which referred to 70% of the amount of passenger in the year 2018 showed that the fare for route 1 is Rp. 3,363/regular passenger, and Rp. 2,018,-/students. The fare for route 2 is Rp. 3,427,-regular passenger, and Rp. 2,056,-/students. The fare for route 3 is Rp. 3,417,-/regular passenger, and Rp. 2,050,-/students. The fare for route 5 is Rp. 3.417,-/regular passenger, and Rp. 2,090,-/students. The fare for route 6 is Rp. 3,347,-/regular passenger, and Rp. 2,008,-/students. The fare for route 7 is Rp. 3,401,-/regular passenger, and Rp. 2,040,-/students.
