- This Reseach discusses the factors that influence the decision of the United States to pull out the Paris Agreement in 2017. In 2015 the United States ratified the Paris Agreement, But after Donald Trump's rise as President, the United States decided to cancel the Paris Agreement. By using the concept of a Green Politics that sees the state as a source of problems rather than solutions to environmental problems, and descriptive methods, this study produces findings that there are two main factors that influence the exit of the United States from the Paris Agreement, namely domestic and international factors. Domestic factors themselves are based on the interests of the state where seeing environmental issues can harm the economy and the country's production. While from the international factor itself, see that the environment is a tool to reduce US competitiveness in global economic growth, and the law to withdraw from less binding international agreements.
