  • The purpose of this study is to describe 1) compensation 2) employee motivation 3) employee performance 4) to analyze the effect of compensation and work motivation on performance and 5) to analyze variables that have a dominant influence on performance. This type of research is survey research. The population in this study were all employees at CV. Damai Jaya Malang as many as 57 employees, this study uses total sampling technique so that the entire population is used as a research sample, so the sample in this study is 57 respondents. Data analysis techniques are using scale analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that compensation included in good criteria, employee work motivation included in high criteria, employee performance included in the criteria was low enough Compensation and work motivation affect performance and compensation has a dominant influence on performance.
