- Population growth and economic progress in a city affects the increasing amount of waste. Increasing the amount of waste will cause problems to the environment, the final process of waste management is in the landfill (Final Processing Waste). Banjarsari Landfill is an active landfill in Bojonegoro Regency. The methods used today are open dumping. Banjarsari Landfill have service coverage area that includes 6 Districts such as Dander, Sumberejo, Kapas, Bojonegoro, Kalitidu, and Trucuk. An area ± 4,75 Ha. Open dumping system is no longer feasible to become a final waste disposal, therefore it is necessary to develop the Banjarsari landfill design using sanitary landfill method. Banjarsari Landfill design with sanitary landfill system includes: design of waste disposal area 49.114 m2 (3 phases), to be able to accommodate waste up to 10 years ahead; Analyzing the stability of the wate slopes using the fellenius method with a safe number of 1.61; placing the methane gas pipe horizontally and vertically; drainage design; installing the leachate pipe using fish bone method with different pipe diameter; temporary leachate storage ponds with the size of 30 m × 19 m × 12 m and with the leachate discharge of 0.07643 m3/sec. After that, the leachate proceed to Waste Water Treantment Plant that uses three ponds, that is stabilization pond, aeration pond, and maturation pond.
