- Student Activity Center Building of Malang Polytechnic State is a lecture building with 8 floors built in Soekarno Hatta street. This building which originally with conventional portal beam systems will be redesigned by using a flat slab system (without beams) and a shear wall as a lateral force stiffener. In structural planning it is necessary to take into calculation the combination of loads, among others, dead loads, live loads, and lateral loads based on SNI 2847: 2013, SNI 1726: 2012 and SNI 1727: 2013. By using the computer program in the form of Staad-Pro vi8 to get the results of inner forces acting on the structure. From the calculation results obtained dimensions of plate with thickness of 200 mm with thickening usingdrop panel of 100 mm, 750 x 750 mm column dimensions, and for shear wall thickness used 300 mm. From the calculation results obtained the need for reinforcement plate using D13 for roof panels, and D16 for floor panels. The column structure uses the D25 reinforcement, and the shear wall uses the D22 reinforcement with the element stiffener (Boundary Element).
