  • Persons with disabilities have similarities with other normal human beings, except that the difference lies in the type of disorder in which many people with disabilities experience obstacles to performing daily activities. In addition, the impact of these differences can also cause people with disabilities to feel inferior, lack confidence, and tend to avoid associating with other normal human beings. This study aims to determine the model of social services for the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities in YPAC Malang by considering the physical, psychological, mental and socio-economic aspects related to the rights of persons with disabilities. And to identify the factors that support and inhibit social services in YPAC Malang. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by using purposive technique. Determination of the subject based on who knows about the information needed by the researcher. Analysis of data usedan interactive model because the activities undertaken in this study carried out continuously to obtain the appropriate data. From the results of the analysis conducted it can be seen that the social service model that is given is not yet effective in welfare and independence of the assisted children because there is no special staff for the social rehabilitation section and still the lack of carers. Discrimination, different treatment and indication of abuse in handling the students and still lack of activity during the dormitory.
