  • The study aims to reveal the comparative analysis of profitability in sharia banks before and after the global crisis of 2008. The study used a quantitative research type, with collected data in the form of numbers, and then the data is processed and analyzed used statistical methods. This study used a comparative approach, is a study by compared one or more variables with a large sample or study social phenomena. Variable of this study consist of ROA, ROE, and BOPO variables. The data used is secondary data, while the data analysis techniques in this study used Paired Sample T-Test assisted software SPSS 20. The result of this study showed that there was a P-value t equal to 0.002 or < 0.05, means a significant difference of the level of profitability in sharia banks seen from ROA ratio at Bank Muamalat Indonesia, while Bank Syariah Mandiri and Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah there is no difference before and after the global crisis of 2008 because a P-value t >0.05. ROE and BOPO ratio at Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank Syariah Mandiri and Bank Negara Indonesia there is no difference before and after the global crisis of 2008, because a P-value t > 0.05.
