- The pakcoy plant (Brassica Rapa L.) is one type of vegetable that most people like to consume. The community's need for daily mustard vegetables is relatively high so that mustard plants are highly cultivated to become commercial vegetables and have good market prospects. The main problem that causes underdeveloped crop cultivation is that agricultural land that is dominated by peat soil and the narrowness of productive land, especially in urban areas certainly requires a way to maximize limited land use in order to remain productive one of the efforts that can be done by cultivating crops with verticulture and to improve the fertility of peat soils is by fertilizing. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition of organic media and spacing of verticulture systems on the growth of mustard pakcoy plants. The research was carried out in the experimental garden of Sidomulyo Horticulture hall, Batu City. The design used in this study was a randomized group design (RAK) which was arranged factorially, with 3 replications with 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the type of organic material, which consists of 5 levels, namely M0 = soil, M1 = soil + peat, M2 = soil + peat + M3 cow manure = soil + peat + goat manure, M4 = soil + peat + fertilizer Goat cage + Cow Cage Fertilizer, while the second factor is verticulture spacing, namely: J1 = 15 cm, J2 = 20 cm. The samples observed were 3 plants. Variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight of mustard greens and dry weight of mustard greens, dry weight of plant roots and dry weight of root of mustard greens. The results of this study indicate that there is a real interaction between the composition of organic media and the spacing of pakcoy growth on J1M4 soil composition + peat soil + goat manure + cow manure and distance of 15 cm, the composition of organic media affects all parameters, the spacing is influential only on the wet weight of mustard pakcoy plants, a planting distance of 15 cm tends to provide a better wet weight of the plant
