  • This study aims to determine the ratio of heat values contained in biobriquette and biopellet mixture of rice husk and coconut shell. The raw material used is rice husk and coconut shell. Raw material powder with a size of 30 mesh. With variations in the composition of rice husks: coconut shell (90 %: 10 %., 70 %: 30 %., 50 %: 50 %., 30 %: 70 %., 10 %: 90 %) where the total weight of 100 % mixture is 10 grams. The printing process with press pressure of 20 Mpa without using adhesive material and holding time of 20 seconds. This study produced the best comparison on biobriquette composition of 10 % rice husk raw material: 9 0% coconut shell with a heating value of 6,960 kcal / kg. In biopellet the best results were obtained from the composition of 10 % rice husk raw material: 90 % coconut shell with a heating value of 4,613 kcal / kg.
