- The current information and globalization era makes the Indonesia Community experience the changes in revolutionary way in every fields and the community life. The community put the internet in the important role to reinforce all aspects of life. The existence of internet can change this nation for being more overt and can accept the new things. One of the information and communication technologies is online media. Nowadays, the community choose to do their activities by using online system through the private media social accounts that they have. For instance, they use to business, choose an entertainment, go shopping, study, to communicate, moreover, they make the media social as the guidance for every life style development that is very up to date. The majority of community know what is Instagram social media that is interested with a large number of users from various ages. The Instagram give a creativity space for the users and also shows the banality side or the structured rigidity that is reflected from the use of sub-features on the Instagram itself. This study used the descriptive qualitative method with the case study approach. The data of this research were taken from the observation, interview, and documentation. The interview was conducted to the research subjects, in which it consisted of ten people with the criteria that had been determined by the researcher. Those criteria were the active of sociology students of 2014s at University of Muhammadiyah Malang in the age of 20-24 years old, the active users of Instagram, and also who were following and being active in the use of Instagram features every day. The theories, that used in this study, were the theory of Repressive State Apparatuses and Ideological State Apparatuses and Louis Althusser. Instagram has a structure in the form of features contained in it and is used by its users to actualize themselves through posts. Structured banities that happened on Instagram include features and sub-features that are often used by active users to post snapstory, use DM (Direct Messages), view other user posts on the time line, explore, post photos or videos, see other user activities and creating the best version of the profile according to the user's subjectivity is an action that is classified as structured analysis on Instagram.
