- UD.Jaya Surya producing cassava chips with three variant taste, they are sweet, spicy and salty chips, have problem of output product that is still not able to adjust market demand. The goal in this final task writing is plan for master production scheduling. From this problem the first step is to forecasting future demand for the fourth period with Minitab software. Demand forecasting results that used from the method is the smallest MAPE value. The next step is formulating a model that is processed by QS software Linear Programming method to obtain the optimal solution. After getting the optimal solution then made the preparation of master production schedules for anticipating unexpected demand. Calculating data that has been done after applying the Linear Programming method the results are, the production of chips for March 2010 Sweet Chips 2149 kg, 1341 kg spicy chip, Salted Chips 1176 kg, Month April 2010 Sweet Chips 2080 kg, 1300 kg of spicy Chip, Chip 1287 kg, in May 2010, 2153 kg sweet Chip, spicy Chip 1132 kg, 1181 kg of Salted Chips.
