- The purpose of the research is to know about the collection to reduce nonperforming loans in PT Bank Regional Development of East Java, Batu city. This research is descriptive-qualitative to explains and presents data on the stage implementation of billing and explain the credit development. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is credit collection stages conducted at PT Bank Jatim is in accordance with the determination by the bank. Barriers faced in the credit collection is about the bad character customer and can not freely visit, improve communication to keep a good relationship with all customer. Collection by phone, direct visits and handling credits such as collateral sales and deleting books. But the effort still not maximal because credit collection only the customer who has the problem that needs a collection to the customer is no problem with doing supervision, guidance and credit collection intensively it will when the happening of the beginning.
