- Batu city has hilly and bumpy land contour with silt soil type to clay, the city is located at an altitude between 700-1700 meters above sea level. This affects the strength of the structure under the building such as foundation. The selection of the foundation type is a pile foundation (pre-cast) because the building is located on the land area of silt soil to clay. In planning the foundation structure requires calculation of load combination between dead load, live load, and earthquake load based on PPIUG 1983 and SNI 03-1726-2012 with static analysis using supporting application. In planning of pile foundation, it is necessary to consider the land characteristic in the field and the load on the top structure of the building. The pile foundation is planned to have a diameter of 0.4 m and is in the form of pile group by adjusting the hard soil depth ± 20 meters in the boring log data. From the calculation results obtained value of bearing capacity single pole foundation of 66.24 tons per pole. Based on data of land carrying capacity, the largest decrease is 0.11 meters. The thickness of pilecap used was 0.6 mm - 0.8 m and using the diameter of 16 mm diameter of 100 mm and 19 mm distance of 100 mm and 18 mm at 100 mm. Then the pile foundation using 12 mm diameter main reinforcement 6 with the diameter of the stem diameter of 8 mm per 150 mm length of pile.
