- Agricultural development at this time there are still many who use chemical fertilizers to increase growth and yield from the production of strawberry, melon and watermelon plants. Previous research also still consider the use of chemical fertilizers to increase plant growth. This research aims to provide an alternative for the use of biological fertilizers in horticultural crops, especially strawberry, melon and watermelon. This is important to do with the three commodities are very popular in Indonesia and have high prospects, and as a reference for the use of good biofertilizers so that they can cultivate strawberry, melon and watermelon plants organically. This research was carried out on the green house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, University of Muhammadiyah Malang by using the Strip Design (strip plot) consisting of 2 factors, namely the type of plant as the main plot and the provision of biological fertilizer as subplots with 3 replications so that there were 45 experimental units. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and tested using the Tukey Distance Test (Honestly Significant Difference) at the level of α5%. From the results of observations on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, stem diameter, wet and dry weight of the plant, as well as wet and dry weight of the roots, it was known that there was an interaction between the frequency of biofertilizers and plant species. The frequency of biofertilizer has a significant effect on all parameters. The best treatment combination for plant height was shown by K3P3 treatment (watermelon with biofertilizer application 3 times), the best treatment for the average number of leaves was K3P3 treatment, the best treatment for leaf area average was K2P3 treatment (melon with biological fertilizer application 3 times), treatment best for the average stem diameter is K1P3 (strawberry with biofertilizer application 3 times), the best treatment for the average wet weight and dry weight of the plant is K2P3 (melon with biological fertilizer application 3 times), while for the root wet weight and dry weight of the root is K2P2 (melon with application of biofertilizer 3 times).
