Daftar Isi:
- Onion (Allium cepa L.) is one of the featured vegetable commodities which have long been cultivated by farmers intensively penananamnya. According to the projection carried out in 2015-2019, shallot production will continue to increase to reach 1.31 million tons in 2019. While national consumption of shallots is also projected to increase with an average growth of 1.73% per year. However, the production of shallots in East Java in particular produces around 15 to 20 tons / ha, whereas after the release of superior varieties, productivity in 2012 increased to 9.6 tons / ha or increased by 27.63%. Fulfillment of nutrients and improvement of organic matter is very necessary, therefore there is a need for research on the frequency of giving local fruit microorganisms to the growth of 2 varieties of shallots. This study used factorial randomized block design with two treatment factors, namely factor 1 namely red onion variety (V) consisting of V1: Bauji variety, V2: Thai variety and factor 2, namely the frequency of giving local fruit microorganisms (P) consisting from, P1: 1 time (2 MST), P2: 2 times (2, and 4 MST), and P3: 3 times (2, 4 and 6 MST). So that obtained 6 treatment combinations and each repeated 3 times. analyzed by variance analysis and correlation analysis. And BNJ test level of 5% to see differences between treatments. Based on the results of the study there was a significant interaction between the frequency of administration with shallots to the height of plants aged 10 HST and very real interaction at the age of 20 HST. The treatment of P3 tends to have a higher average for each observation variable.
