- The airport is a facility where airplanes can take off and landing. I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is one of the international airport located in the south of Bali, Indonesia, precisely in the District of Tuban, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali Province. Currently, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is in the process of improving the service in carrying out overlay runway works as long as 3000 m and widht of 45 m, this is due to the damage in some grounding point which can endanger the flight traffic. The purpose of this final project is to find out how much pavement thickness is required of the FAA method and to know the cost of building the overlay runway. Based on the result of the analysis and calculation of the overlay pavement thickness of the runway using FAA method, the layer thickness is 13 cm and the budget plan of runway Rp 47.850.909.084 (forty seven billion eight hundred fifty million nine hundred nine thousand eighty four rupiah).
