- Students who are working on a thesis need a strong, resilient person, and the ability to regulate emotions in him to be able to survive the conditions of completing his final assignment. The ability to regulate emotions (emotional regulation) in individuals is considered an important development, because individuals can balance emotions when facing pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of Emotional Regulations for Students Taking Thesis. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, the sampling technique used is incidental sampling, the number of subjects 200 students who are taking thesis, and the instrument used is the emotion regulation scale. The results showed that the regulation of emotion with the category was quite capable with more as much as 66%, the category of underprivileged as much as 21.5% and in the very capable category as much as 12.5%. Other findings indicate that students who are taking a female thesis have more poorly regulated emotions compared to male students.
