PERBANDINGAN EFEKTIVITAS HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING DAN CIRCUIT TRAINING TERHADAP PENINGKATAN VO2max PADA PEMAIN SEPAK BOLA SSB PORMA FC MALANG
Daftar Isi:
- Background: The football players are requiring high VO2max ability, because the strong energy and body power is needed in the soccer game. In addition, people who have good cardiorespiratory endurance is having higher VO2max value, they can do activity longer than people who have low VO2max value. Therefore, the high VO2max value is required for the football players in order to follow the soccer game well. Furthermore, there are several physical exercises that can be done by football player to improve cardiorespiratory endurance, such as: HIIT and Circuit Training exercise. Research Methodology: This research was employing quasi experimental design with pretest and post test two design. In addition, this research was conducted in 4 weeks that involved 35 respondents of football players in SSB Porma FC Malang. The research respondents were divided into two groups. The groups were 18 respondents in the High Intensity Interval Training and 17 respondents in the Circuit Training group. Lastly, the obtained data were analyzed using Paired T-Test and Independent T-Test. This research use Cooper Test for result VO2max. Result: Based on the calculation of Paired T-Test, the analysis on HIIT group is resulting the value of sig (2-Tailed), while on Circuit Training group is resulting 0.000 (p<0.05), thus H1 is accepted. Furthermore, the calculation using Independent T-Test is resulting the significance value on the both two groups 0,006 (p<0.05), which means that there is a difference between two groups. Conclusion: There is a difference on the effectiveness of HIIT and Circuit Training towards VO2max improvement after given HIIT exercise with average value 45,72 ml/kg.min which is more effective than after given Circuit Training exercise with average value 45,13 ml/kg.min.
