- Background : Low Back Pain is one of musculoskeletal disorder as the result of inappropriate ergonomics and generally the pain is caused by the muscle stretching and aging that will cause decrement of intensity of exercise and movement. To meet the needs of human life are required to work more actively, but often, people do not pay attention the correct position when carrying out the work and it can lead to a complaint of Low Back Pain (LBP). Aim : To understand the correlation between sitting position against Low Back Pain on pedicab driver in Malang. Method : The study design using cross sectional study with total sample size of 100 respondents of pedicab driver in Malang and taken by using purposive sampling method that met the inclusion criteria. Data collection that conducted to determine the sitting position of assessed by REBA (Rapid Entry Body Assessment) and the Low Back Pain was assessed using a questionnaire of NBM (Nordic Body Map). Results : The results was analyzed by using Spearman correlation test against sitting position that related with Low Back Pain obtained the significance value of 0.028 <0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.220. Conclusion : There was significant correlation between sitting position against Low Back Pain on pedicab driver in Malang.
