  • Background : More than 90% cases unintentional injury are the main causes of death and disability or disruption of daily activities for children 10-19 years. Knowladge about first aid very important to support the teacher’s first aid behavior for students. Knowladge an important role in the first aid behavior that is applied by the teacher when performing first aid measures in school. Aim : To find out the relationship between teacher’s level of knowledge and first aid behavior in injury. Method : This study uses a Non-experimental research design with cross sectional research design that is by emphasizing the time of measurement or observation of dependent and independent variabel data without any follow-up. Sampling technique used is Total Sampling with 54 respondent and given a knowledge questionnaire and behavior. Statistical analysis of the relationship of teacher’s level of knowladge with first aid behavior on injury using Chi Square test with a significance of p<0,05. Result : The results of the statistical test analysis showed that relationship between teacher level’s of knowladge with first aid behavior in injury with a significance value on the SPSS 16.0 (p=0,001). Conclusion : In this study there is a relationship between teacher’s level of knowledge and first aid behavior in injury in the junior high school environment in Malang.
