- In reporting an event between the media must be packing news with different angel, it depend on the point of view that they choose. This can result in different perceptions and responses between each reader. This research is aims to find out the alignments highlighted in the presentation of news about the pros and cons of the Tomahawk USA missile attack on Syria. The theoretical approach used in this study is the theory of new media, in the process of mass communication they use the power of the internet, so that the distribution of new media information is faster than traditional mass media (print and electronic). Researchers used a qualitative approach, with qualitative descriptive research types. The Data collection methods used a documentation technique. The data analysis was conducted by means of interactive model analysis of Miles, Matthew B. & A. Michael Huberman. The research results showed that Kompas.com was highlighted in the presentation of news about the Tomahawk USA missile attack on Syria, which had a tendency to counter the Tomahawk USA missile attack on Syria, which saw the selection of sources. In addition Kompas.com counterproductive tendency to attack the USA Tomahawk missiles to Syria, also seen on the news about the Syrian government that no longer has chemical weapons because it had handed over all the weapons that were there in 2013 years ago. The news presentation conducted by Detik.com tends to be pro against the Tomahawk USA missile attack on Syria, seen in the selection of resource persons, and the sentences written tend to contain elements of provocation. In addition, the reliability aspect (Realiabel) is very low, the alignments made by Detik.com towards the USA, in the presentation of the news are not included information from Bashar al-Assad.
