  • Current environmental conditions where the weather is erratic so that the impact on coffee beans is harvested. Therefore, to get the best quality coffee powder, it is necessary to filter or classify coffee fruit to get the best quality coffee. To reduce the impact of declining coffee fruit quality, a coffee fruit sorting device is needed to provide the best quality coffee fruit. One of the most commonly used tools is a quality detection device for coffee beans for papain coffee. Coffee fruit sorting tools can be made by several methods. One method used in this study is image processing and threshold. The choice of this method is able to provide a more accurate output compared to previous coffee fruit quality detection methods. The results of the data from the Raspberry Pi camera module will be sent to the Raspberry Pi 3 microcontroller and will then be processed in a laptop using image processing and threshold methods. Coffee fruit sorting devices using this made raspberry pi 3 based camera are able to provide good quality coffee beans.
