- Mass communication is a process by which communicators use a medium to spread the message widely to the public, and expect a change in the community, one of them through the film. In the film, people can enjoy the entertainment as well as absorb the message conveyed by the film maker or communicator. The fiction film entitled "Too Young To Die" by Kudou Kankurou is a Japanese-origin film that discusses the hard work of someone who is in a harsh environment of hell. The 125-minute film shows some elements of the moral message that characters face in the face of a trial. This research uses basic content analysis research, with quantitative descriptive approach. While the scope in this Research is the film "Too Young To Die". Indicator under study is the emergence of categories in each scene about elements of moral messages with the category of Independence, Concern, and Self Awareness. Where in the calculation produces the numbers 0.70 to 0.91 on the division of categories in verbal and non-verbal formats. From the calculations and research conducted, it is concluded that the number of calculations of the emergence of elements of moral messages have values that are in numbers more than the minimum limit of tolerance that has been set so that his reliability is quite high by carrying elements of moral messages in the movie "Too Young To Die "by Kudou Kankurou.
