- Solar Power Plant (PLTS) is a renewable electric power plant that utilizes solar power. At a plant it is very important to optimize the energy produced. To maximize electrical energy requires a device called Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). In this study the Buck Converter is used to regulate the electrical power produced from PV to be stable and optimal use aParticle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorith. Based on the results of testing the MPPT Buck converter obtained with a circuit efficiency value of 83,68%. From the results of this study that optimization of PV output power using Buck converter with PSO algorithm can be achieved.
